A Lineup Like No Other
“This lineup is one of my all-time favourites,” said creative director Spencer Shewen in a press release. “For our 15th year, we went all in — bringing together an electrifying mix of artists and genres that feels like the ultimate festival mixtape.” It’s clear that the team is pulling out all the stops for this milestone year.

Founded in 2009 by local artist Marilyn Koop, Riverfest Elora started as a small, community-driven event and has since grown to welcome up to 6,000 concertgoers each day. This year, it’s not just about the music; it’s a celebration of 15 years of unforgettable moments in Elora’s beautiful Bissell Park.

Festival Highlights
Here’s a taste of what’s to come over the three days:

  • Friday, August 15: Headlined by Silversun Pickups, the evening will also feature performances from Wheatus, Marcy Playground, Danny Michel, Cam Kahin, and more.

  • Saturday, August 16: Fitz and the Tantrums take the stage, joined by Tune-Yards, Dear Rouge, Yukon Blonde, Tom Wilson, and Moontricks.

  • Sunday, August 17: The festival will close with a bang as City and Colour headlines, alongside The Philharmonik, Rich Aucoin, Michie Mee, Grae, and many others.

Local talent is also shining throughout the weekend with performances by Grae, Emmett Watters, Danny Michel, Tony McManus, and the Boo Radley Project’s Karaoke Live!, to name just a few.

Dine Alone Records Makes a Comeback
This year, Dine Alone Records returns for the first time since 2019 to celebrate their 20th anniversary. The label will feature exclusive merchandise, vinyl, and surprise goodies at their festival store. Artists like City and Colour, Yukon Blonde, and Cam Kahin are just a few of the big names associated with Dine Alone, and fans can expect some exciting surprises at their booth.

A Festival of Resilience and Community
After last year’s unpredictable weather—which included some rain delays and a Saturday night shutdown—the Riverfest team bounced back stronger than ever. They learned from those challenges and are ready to make the 15th anniversary an even bigger success. Despite the setbacks, they proved that nothing can dampen the spirit of this festival.

As Riverfest Elora’s newly appointed festival manager, Sonia Cheng, shared, the event brings the entire community together. “The festival is built on the passion of our 500-plus volunteers who make it all happen,” she said. “We can’t wait to celebrate our big 15th anniversary with you.”

Expect the Best of Riverfest
This year, Riverfest Elora promises to deliver three days of live music, stunning artwork, mouthwatering food and drinks, and the signature Riverfest energy—all set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Grand River.

As they’ve proudly declared, Riverfest Elora is the “can’t-miss party of the summer,” blending chart-topping artists, nostalgic hits, and homegrown local talent into an unforgettable festival experience. With its 15th anniversary celebration, the stage is set for an epic summer weekend. Will you be there to witness it?
