The Guelph Beer Bus is back and ready to roll this Saturday, April 12, offering a free ride to six of the city’s best local breweries. The bus will run from noon to 7 p.m. and will continue monthly until November 15.
This exciting event allows beer lovers to visit six local hotspots: Royal City, Sleeman, Fixed Gear, Brothers, Wrinkly Bear, and Wellington Brewery. The bus operates on a 30-minute schedule, with 20-minute service during peak hours, ensuring you have plenty of time to explore each location.
“The Guelph Beer Bus is more than just a free ride,” said Brad McInerney, marketing director at Wellington Brewery. “It’s a great way to dive into Guelph’s vibrant beer scene, meet new people, and discover what makes our breweries special.”
The bus is open to everyone, including families, and you can hop on and off at any of the six breweries. No tickets are needed; simply jump on board. Volunteers will be collecting donations to support local charitable causes, adding an extra feel-good element to the event.
Each brewery stop will feature a variety of locally brewed beers, from year-round favorites to small-batch specialties. In addition to drinks, many of the breweries will offer snacks, pop-up food vendors, and even live music or DJs to keep the fun flowing.
So, gather your friends, hop on the Guelph Beer Bus, and experience the best of Guelph’s craft beer scene—it’s the perfect way to spend a Saturday!
