The Guelph Arts Council (GAC) is inviting residents and visitors to step into the past with its annual series of historical walking tours. Running Sunday mornings at 10 a.m., these 60 to 90-minute guided tours offer an engaging way to learn about Guelph’s rich history and the people who shaped it.
Led by passionate and knowledgeable volunteers, each tour brings a different part of the city’s heritage to life. Whether you’re new to Guelph, visiting for the weekend, or a lifelong resident, there’s something new to discover.
Tickets are just $10 per tour, or you can take advantage of an early bird bundle — all seven tours for $50 if purchased before May 30.
“These tours encourage us to slow down and truly observe the details of the city around us,” said GAC in a press release. “They’re perfect for families, friends, or solo explorers looking to connect with Guelph’s vibrant past.”
This year’s tour series is especially meaningful as it also celebrates the 50th anniversary of the Guelph Arts Council.
