Fans of alternative, indie, and folk music won’t want to miss a special performance coming to Guelph next month.

Aysanabee (pronounced Ace-in-abbey), a Juno Award-winning Oji-Cree artist from Sandy Lake First Nation, is hitting the road for a Canadian winter tour, making a stop at Sonic Hall on Wednesday, March 19.

“I’m excited to get back on the road, but it’s also my first headline tour,” he shared.

Despite having played everywhere from massive festivals to intimate bar gigs worldwide, this marks the first time Aysanabee has full creative control over the experience.

“I’ve played in Guelph a few times—especially at Hillside—but always as a solo acoustic act,” he said. “This time, I’m bringing the full band to the venue.”

For fans eager to hear his powerful storytelling and soulful sound in a brand-new live format, this show promises to be a must-see.
