CENTRE WELLINGTON – Authorities in Wellington County, Ontario, are launching an investigation into a daring theft from a retailer in Fergus.

In a startling incident on March 2 around 8 p.m., a suspect calmly entered the store and proceeded to fill a black duffle bag with merchandise totaling nearly $1,000. Shockingly, the individual made no attempt to pay for the items before exiting the premises, as reported in an OPP news release.

Law enforcement officials are now seeking the public’s help in identifying the perpetrator behind this audacious theft.
